I don't even know how to give advice but keep trying and I think that eventually you guys will find something that works. Maybe you could talk to him and see what he thinks and if he has any suggestions.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1902725226076917488.post-78036616930504814592009-09-16T10:33:13.908-06:002009-09-16T10:33:13.908-06:00Great post, something that I'm already worried...Great post, something that I'm already worried about and Harry's only in first grade. It is so hard to be a kid these days. I didn't have homework until I hit high school, and even then I'd usually do it AT school before or after. I'd say pray about it. Have him pray about it. That seems to always help us out.annie valentinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09259818466629913925noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1902725226076917488.post-51118215194260433502009-09-04T15:16:01.309-06:002009-09-04T15:16:01.309-06:00OH Natalie I so relate to this post. Secondly, Jake sounds a LOT like my oldest daughter. The whole stress = overwhelmed and do anything but what you really need to do cycle. Let me know if you figure it out!Andrea W.https://www.blogger.com/profile/03613226903994552978noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1902725226076917488.post-38400252467329318352009-08-27T11:40:06.255-06:002009-08-27T11:40:06.255-06:00oh man! I try to pretend like it isn't even there, and then it gets worse and worse. school is hard.
You're a good mom.Sarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05271404872284427848noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1902725226076917488.post-71051948214383435842009-08-24T18:37:11.948-06:002009-08-24T18:37:11.948-06:00Ugh! They work wonders for adults, why not for pre-teens?? That should be a class they teach in jr and high school. Anyway, maybe it's worth looking into. I've been thinking about looking into it for Sam lately...JoAnnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13344182569114328678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1902725226076917488.post-70955682658569822102009-08-24T09:03:33.331-06:002009-08-24T09:03:33.331-06:00My only suggestion is maybe talking to Anne and se...My only suggestion is maybe talking to Anne and see what his tendensies are when she is with him. And maybe some staying on point ideas.

I really have no idea since I don't have kids and school was too long ago to recall.
